Do you know aha & bha are better exfoliants than scrub? Read on to know more why..

? What is exfoliation? ⁣
Exfoliation means removing off the dead skin cells and the dirt which settles on the skin. By regularly exfoliating, skin always stays fresh and free from various problems such as winkles, scars, acne and hyperpigmentation.⁣

? How are scrubs same as AHA/BHA?
The end goal of using scrubs and AHA/ BHA is the same - to exfoliate dead skin cells, dirt and debris off the skin. However the manner in both of them work is different.

☀️ What is physical and chemical exfoliation?
The process of skin exfoliation through scrubs is called physical exfoliation and the process of skin exfoliation through AHA/ BHA is called chemical exfoliation

✨ Why is chemical exfoliation better than physical exfoliation?⁣
In physical exfoliation scrubs/ other granular agents rub through physical friction to get rid of the dead skin cells from the surface of your skin, whereas in the chemical exfoliation aha/ bha reacts and dissolves the dead cells and dirt from the deeper layers of the skin. Chemical exfoliation due to getting rid off the dirt from the deeper layer gives a long lasting result and helps in reducing scars, wrinkles, acne and hyperpigmentation. ⁣
