Heard of aha & bha umpteen times, but do not know how to use them?
? aha and bha are alpha hydroxy and beta hydroxy acids. Don’t let the word ‘acid’ fool you :) Any compound which has a pH of <7 is considered acidic, even your skin is acidic. Acids aren’t harmful for the skin, in fact they are more compatible being closer in pH to the skin
? What skin problems do they treat?
Depending on the type of acid, they can treat various skin problems such as acne, hyper pigmentation, uneven skin tone, wrinkles and fine lines, dry and dull skin
? In what forms can I use aha & bha?
aha & bha come in various forms such as cleansers, toners, wash-off facial serum, treatment and night creams.
? Wash-off facial serums has the highest amount of acid concentration and is the best to reduce hyper pigmentation, acne, scars and wrinkles.
