Vitamin C Serum For Face - 10% Vitamin C + 0.5 % Ferulic Acid

This water resistant sunscreen for dry & normal skin contains powerful sun filters such as Butyl Methoxydibenzoylmethane, Benzophenone-3 & Ethyl hexyl salicylate that protects skin from harmful UV radiations and prevents the damage caused by both UVA and UVB rays. It also contains powerful ingredients such as Niacinamide that helps in brightening the skin.

• 10 % Vitamin C (3-o-ethyl ascorbic acid) inhibits tyrosinase activity to provide a brightening effect.
• 0.5 % Ferulic acid is a potent antioxidant, which prevents sun damage by suppressing the production of free radicals.

How to use?

• Apply 2-3 drops of Vitamin C serum on dry skin after cleansing
• Apply fluid brightening sunscreen on the face & neck in the morning routine & at least 15 minutes before stepping out in the sun. Use after a moisturizer & before using makeup.
• Reapply sunscreen when needed for continued protection.

We ship to almost every city in India. We do not offer an international shipping option currently, but we hope to offer it in the future.

How long does an order take to process?

We try to process the orders within 24 working hours, in most cases we try to fulfil the order within 5 working days, but please allow us 7 working days to fulfil the order. Order delivery time may vary during peak periods(after/during product launches, holidays and special promotions)

How long does it take to ship?

We ship all confirmed orders within 24 working hours. You will receive an email once your order is shipped with your tracking number. We work as hard as we can to try to meet your expectations, but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics, bad weather, or things out of our control.

How can you track your order?

Cancellations

How will I receive the refund for my cancelled order?

For prepaid orders, money will be returned to the bank account/credit/debit card or where the payment was made within 7 business working days.We will be able to credit to the original method of payment, we cannot refund to another alternative card.

Thank you for shopping at The Deconstruct. We have made all our products with utmost care and deep scientific knowledge with an understanding of most skin types. If you are still not completely satisfied with a purchase, please reach out to us and we will put all our efforts to help you. Kindly make an unboxing video for easy reference. 

We offer refund / replacement only in the following cases:

1. Wrong product delivered
2. Expired product delivered
3. Damaged product delivered – Physical damage
4. Missing product

Step 1 – Raise a request within 2 days from the date of delivery along with an unboxing video through Email –

Step 3 – On reviewing your request, we will send our courier partner to collect the product delivered to you.

Step 4 – After your product(s) is received, we will verify it and initiate the replacement or refund accordingly.

Under what conditions return/ replacement requests will not be accepted?

• Opened/used/altered products.
• Original packaging (mono cartons, labels, etc.) missing.
• The return/replacement request is generated after 2 days from the date of delivery.
• The damaged/ missing product is reported after 2 days from the date of delivery.

1. Is gel sunscreen physical or chemical based?
   Gel sunscreen is a chemical sunscreen that contains chemical UV filters which work by absorbing UV rays, converting them into heat and releasing them from the skin surface.
2. What skin types can use chemical sunscreen?
   Although suitable for all skin types, chemical sunscreens should be carefully used by people with sensitive skin conditions since they may cause certain reactions such as inflammation or redness.
3. How is chemical sunscreen better over physical sunscreen?
   Chemical sunscreen is designed to be absorbed and hence spreads and works smoothly on the skin without feeling greasy or sticky. It also does not leave any white cast when applied.
4. Should I use sunscreen only in the summer?
   Sunscreen should be used every day and should be a part of your daily skincare regimen, not just in summer. You are exposed to UV radiation every day when you step out, hence applying sunscreen is mandatory regardless of the season.
5. How long should a 50gm sunscreen last?
   If you use sunscreen generously every day on your face and neck, it will last for around 1-1.5 months.
6. Can I apply makeup over sunscreen? Will it cause any pilling?
   Yes, you can apply makeup after applying sunscreen on your face. Applying makeup over sunscreen will not cause any pilling. Just ensure that the sunscreen sits well on your skin for about 5 minutes before applying makeup.
7. Is it safe to use methoxycinnamate?
   Methoxycinnamate is generally considered safe to be used in sunscreens but should be avoided by pregnant and lactating mothers.
8. Can this product be used by pregnant or lactating mothers?
   No, this product should not be used by pregnant or lactating mothers as it contains chemical sun filters.

1. I have never used vitamin C serum before. Is it safe for me to use it?
   Yes, it is suitable for all skin types. It is advisable to start with a patch test before regular use.
2. How to use this product if I am a beginner / first-time user?
   If you are a first-time user, we recommend starting with an ease-in process:
   • Use 1 drop of serum mixed in moisturizer and apply every alternate day during the first week. If everything is fine, slowly increase usage to every day mixed with moisturizer.
   • Gradually progress to using 1-2 drops directly on the face for 2-3 days per week, then increase the frequency to daily usage.
3. Can I use Vitamin C Serum twice a day, daily?
   Yes, Vitamin C serum is safe to use twice a day.
4. Is this serum safe to use for a pregnant lady?
   We recommend consulting with a doctor before using any skincare product during pregnancy.
5. Does your Vitamin C serum cause purging?
   Ideally, Vitamin C serum should not cause purging. However, if you are a beginner, have sensitive skin, or using this active ingredient for the first time, purging might occur.
6. Is Vitamin C safe to use for a long amount of time?
   Yes, Vitamin C serum can be used for a long period without any issues.
