Xanthan Gum: It is a natural polysaccharide that functions as an emulsifying and thickening agent.

Glycolic acid: It is the smallest AHA (alpha hydroxy acid) that improves the appearance of photodamaged skin, reduces fine lines and wrinkles, smooths rough and uneven skin texture and reduces hyperpigmentation.
Sodium Lactate: It is a natural moisturizing factor that maintains skin hydration and also enhances moisturization efficacy of the product.
Zinc PCA: It helps to normalise sebum production and exhibits antimicrobial properties.

- I have never used tranexamic acid, can I use 3% and how to use it?
Our recommendation is to always start with a patch test and slowly include it in the routine. Use 1 drop mixed in moisturizer and use it every alternate day the first week, if everything is fine slowly increase to using it everyday mixed in the moisturizer. If everything is fine, move to using 1-2 drops directly on the face for 2/3 days per week and slowly increase the frequency of usage. This way you can get to using the product as a serum everyday in 6-8 weeks of time and this is called an ‘ease-in’ process to get the active used to the skin.
- I have never used active ingredients. Can I use your Pigmentation Control Serum? I am a beginner, can I use tranexamic acid?
As a beginner, you should first start with using 1 drop of the serum mixed in a moisturizer and use it in either morning or night routine. You can gradually use it alternate days the first week, if everything seems to be alright, slowly increase to using it everyday mixed in the moisturizer. Move to using it 1-2 drops directly on the face for 2/3 days per week if you feel all is well with your skin and slowly increase the frequency of usage. It is advisable to always patch test any product before use.
- Can Pigmentation Serum be used twice a day?
Yes, Pigmentation Control Serum can be used two times a day. Using it twice a day will show even better results. It can be incorporated in both day and night routines.
- Does your Pigmentation Serum cause purging?
Pigmentation Control Serum is an anti-pigmentation daily serum that usually does not cause purging. We recommend to start with using less quantity (1-2 drops) and frequency then gradually increase the dosage (2-4 drops) and frequency of usage to everyday.
- I have sensitive skin, can I use this serum?
Yes, you can use the Pigmentation Control Serum even if you have sensitive skin. Start by using it once a day by mixing 1-2 drops in the moisturizer. Gradually increase to 2-3 drops or use it directly on a clean skin. Later you can switch to using it twice a day.
- What skin types can use Pigmentation Control Serum?

Avoid using exfoliating acids such as salicylic acid, lactic acid and retinol along with tranexamic acid in the same routine.

You can use Pigmentation Control Serum twice a day for best results. However, we recommend using it only once in a day initially or if you are a beginner, until your skin gets used to the active. You can gradually use the serum twice a day once your skin is adapted to the ingredient.
- What is better for PIH acne scars: exfoliating toners (AHA/BHA) or serums (Tranexamic Acid, Niacinamide, Azelaic acid, etc.)? Serums containing ingredients such as Tranexamic acid, Glycolic Acid and Niacinamide are better for PIH acne scars.
