18% AHA + 2% BHA(Salicylic Acid) - Exfoliating Serum

Why is this different?

AHA BHA Exfoliating Serum contains Glycolic Acid, Lactic Acid, Tartaric Acid, Malic Acid and Salicylic Acid. This Aha Bha serum deeply exfoliates all layers of skin giving even-toned and smooth textured skin. The process of chemical peeling allows AHA & BHA serum to go deeper into the skin layers and⁣ the propylene glycol ensures that the skin is less irritated during application and keeps moisturized.

How Does it Work on the Skin?

• 18% AHA works on exfoliating dead skin cells and dirt from the dermis to the epidermis of the skin to give an immediate smooth texture
• 2% BHA works on deep exfoliation and cleansing of the pores

How to use?

1. Apply 2-3 drops evenly on clean and dry skin, avoiding eye area, and leave on for no more than 10 minutes.
2. Wash off with cold water and follow up with a moisturiser.
3. Using sunscreen is a must in the morning routine. It is recommended NOT to use more than twice a week and incorporate it in the night routine.

Note: If you are a first time user of the exfoliating actives, we recommend using Beginners exfoliating serum. However, if you have used exfoliating actives and are a first time user of this product, it is recommended to incorporate it slowly into your routine and gradually increase the frequency to 1-2 times a week For more details check the FAQs.

Lactic Acid: Lactic Acid is similar to glycolic acid in structure but bigger in size and thus helps in superficial exfoliation of the epidermal skin layers and also acts as an excellent moisturiser by the virtue of it being naturally present in the skin's natural moisturising factor

Use with Deconstruct’s Breakout Control Serum - 3.3% Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate to treat acne and scars. Leave the Deconstruct Exfoliating Serum - 18% AHA + 2% BHA on for 10 minutes and wash off. Follow up with Deconstruct’s Breakout Control Serum - 3.3% Potassium Azeloyl Diglycinate as a spot treatment for best results.

For skin that is radiant, smooth and even toned
Use with Deconstruct’s Brightening Serum - 10% Niacinamide + 0.3% Alpha Arbutin for added brightness. Leave the Deconstruct Exfoliating Serum - 18% AHA + 2% BHA on for 10 minutes and wash off. Apply 2-3 drops of Deconstruct’s Brightening Serum - 10% Niacinamide + 0.3% Alpha Arbutin onto dry skin. Use your fingertips to spread it evenly across your face until absorbed.

We ship to almost every city in India. We do not offer an international shipping option currently, but we hope to offer it in the future.

How long does an order take to process?

We try to process the orders within 24 working hours, in most cases we try to fulfil the order within 3 working days, but please allow us 7 working days to fulfil the order. Order delivery time may vary during peak periods(after/during product launches, holidays and special promotions)

How long does it take to ship?

We ship all confirmed orders within 24 working hours. You will receive an email once your order is shipped with your tracking number. We work as hard as we can to try to meet your expectations, but sometimes there may be delays – e.g. because of postal/carrier delays, logistics, bad weather, or things out of our control.

How will I receive the refund for my cancelled order?

For prepaid orders, money will be returned to the bank account/credit/debit card or where the payment was made within 7 business working days.We will be able to credit to the original method of payment,we cannot refund to another alternative card.

Returns and Refund

Thank you for shopping at The Deconstruct. We have made all our products with utmost care and deep scientific knowledge with an understanding of most skin types. If you are still not completely satisfied with a purchase, please reach out to us and we will put all our efforts to help you.

We offer refund / replacement only in following cases:

1. Wrong product delivered
2. Expired product delivered
3. Damaged product delivered – Physical damage/ tampered product or packaging.
4. Missing product

Step 1 – Raise a request within 2 days from the date of delivery through Email –

you are facing and your order ID.

Step 2 – Allow us 48 working hours to review your request.

Step 3 – On reviewing your request, we will send our courier partner to collect the product delivered to you.

Step 4 – After your product(s) is received, we will verify it and initiate the replacement or refund accordingly.

Under what conditions return/ replacement requests will not be accepted?

• Opened/used/altered products.
• Original packaging (mono cartons, labels, etc.) missing.
• The return/replacement request is generated after 2 days from the date of delivery.
• The damaged/ missing product is reported after 2 days from the date of delivery.
• Update received as product delivered but product not received and if reported after 24 hours from the time of delivery.

1. How to use this product if I am a beginner / first time user?
   If you are a first time user for this product, apply 2-3 drops and leave on for 4-5 mins and wash off the serum with water thoroughly. Start using it once a week and then gradually increase to twice a week in the night routine only. Moisturise your skin well post washing off the serum. After exfoliation, the skin can become a little sensitive hence it is recommended to use sunscreen in the morning routine.
   Note: It is always advisable to start with a patch test before using it. Do not use it more than two times a week.
2. What product to avoid using with exfoliating serum in the same routine?
   Avoid using all the skincare actives with exfoliating serum. However, you can use hyaluronic acid and ceramides.
3. I have never used exfoliation serum before. Is it safe for me to use it?
   Yes, suitable for all skin types. It is always advisable to start with a patch test before using it.
4. Can I use Exfoliating Serum twice a day, daily?
   Exfoliating serum contains AHA & BHA & shouldn't be used more than twice a week.
5. Does aha bha serum reduce pigmentation?
   Yes, this serum helps in reducing dark spots, tanning and pigmentation.
6. How long do I need to use exfoliating serum to see the results?
   Exfoliating serum should be used for 4-6 weeks religiously to see the best results. It is advisable to use this serum for not more than 2 times a week.
   
7. Is exfoliating serum safe to use for a pregnant and/ or a lactating/ nursing mother?
   It is recommended to not use Exfoliating serum during pregnancy or lactation or nursing period.
8.  Can exfoliating serum be used twice a day?
    It is not advisable to use the exfoliating serum more than twice a week.
