What is the Deconstruct Dermatologist Consultation?
It is a 1-on-1 skin consultation with a certified dermatologist, available through Deconstruct's WhatsApp & Website channel. The session is 30 minutes, personalised to your skin concerns, and designed to help you build the right skincare routine using Deconstruct products.
Is this a paid service?
Yes. There is a nominal ₹149 booking fee to confirm your slot. This fee is fully refundable as a discount coupon if you purchase recommended Deconstruct products after your consultation.
Who are the dermatologists conducting the consultations?
All consultations are conducted by certified, qualified dermatologists partnered with Deconstruct. Each dermatologist is briefed on our full product range and follows a structured consultation format to ensure a high-quality experience.
How long is the consultation?
Each session is of 30 minutes. This ensures that all of the customer's queries are taken up & provides sufficient time for the dermatologists to diagnose and recommend products.
What happens during the consultation?
Your dermatologist will review your skin profile (shared during booking), discuss your primary concerns, and recommend a personalised product routine. You will receive a digital prescription and a curated product cart link after the call.
What are the consultation timings for each dermatologist?
Consultations are available across the following days and time windows (all slots are 30 minutes each):
Dr. Shaily — Weekdays: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM, then 2:30 PM – 3:00 PM
Dr. Shaily — Saturday: 11:30 AM – 2:00 PM, then 4:00 PM – 7:00 PM
Dr. Shaily is not available on Sundays.
Are consultations available on weekends?
Yes. Dr. Shaily is available only on Saturdays in addition to their respective weekday slots.
Can I book outside the listed consultation hours?
No. Slots can only be booked within the working hours listed for each dermatologist. The booking page will only display slots that are currently available.
How do I book a consultation?
Click the WhatsApp button on our website. You will be guided through a short intake form (skin type, concerns, allergies) by our bot. After completing the form, you will receive a booking link to select your preferred slot and pay the ₹149 fee.
Can I choose a specific dermatologist?
Slot assignment is automatic based on availability. You can choose the dermatologist while booking the slot on the slot booking page.
How many times can I reschedule?
You may reschedule your appointment any number of times during the day within the available time slots. Rescheduling is not permitted within 1 hour of your booked slot. This will ensure calls happen without friction as per bookings and be respectful towards the dermatologists' time.
Can I cancel my booking?
Cancellations are accepted up to 1 hour before your scheduled slot. The ₹149 fee is non-refundable for late cancellations or no-shows.
How far in advance can I book?
Slots are available up to 3 days in advance. We recommend booking early as slots fill quickly during the sale window.
What platform is the consultation conducted on?
All consultations are conducted via Google Meet. A unique meeting link is automatically generated and sent to you on WhatsApp and email at the time of booking.
What should I keep ready before the call?
Have your current skincare concerns handy, be in a well-lit space so the dermat can assess your skin visually and keep your intake form details in mind. The call starts on time, so please join 5 minutes early.
Can the dermatologist recommend products from other brands?
No. Our dermatologists are scoped to recommend Deconstruct products only. This ensures all recommendations are within our quality-controlled range, science-backed, gentle yet highly effective and relevant to your skin profile.
What if I have more than one skin concern?
You can provide multiple concerns during the intake form. Your dermatologist will discuss the most pressing ones with you during the 30-minute session given the time constraint.
What do I receive after the consultation?
Within a few minutes of your call ending, you will receive: (1) a digital prescription summarising your skin concerns and recommended routine, and (2) a personalised product cart link pre-filled with the recommended products sent via WhatsApp.
Is the ₹149 fee refunded?
Yes. For purchasing any Deconstruct's recommended product after your consultation, you will be able to redeem the amount via a coupon code to use in your order. The coupon is available in the prescription form itself and will be sent to you on WhatsApp after your consultation.
What if I do not purchase immediately after the call?
No problem. Your cart link remains active and your dermat recommendations are saved. You will receive a gentle reminder after a few days in case you want to revisit.
Can I book another consultation in the future?
Yes, subject to slot availability. Consultations during the sale event are limited in number, so we encourage you to book early.
What information do I need to share during booking?
Name, email address, age range, gender, skin type, primary skin concern(s), and any known product allergies. This information is shared with your dermatologist to help them prepare for your session.
